Simple, easy, basic. You enter the sub-total, you adjust the percentage of how much you want to tip, split the bill of necessary, and BAM. The total and the tip is displayed in nice large blocks at the bottom. An awesome app that makes anybodys life easier when paying the bill!

This is an app I use all the time. Works well and makes life easier.

The only improvement I would REALY like to to see added is to be able to turn on an audible click when punching numbers on the number keypad. Otherwise, great app!

This Tip Calculator is my favorite. It has an awesome design and looks so friggin sweet on my iPod touch.

I personally believe the green UI update wasnt the best choice--I loved the blue, however.

There is anothert app. that I was seeking....TIP CALCULATOR. This is not nearly as good. Does not give as much information and it is difficult to navigate and change input selections. Dont bother buying this app. I wish I could get my buck back...just on principle. I wont use this anymore.

There seems to be a really annoying bug in which the app quits whenvever the backspace button is pressd when adding digits into the total bill. It really breaks the app. Id like to keep this app because its so nice, bit this bug really needs to be fixed already. Previous: Much like my other reviews on shopping lists and to-do lists apps on here, Ive tried about half of these tip calculator apps and this is the best one to have. It has a really simple and easy to use interface. Im the kind of guy who will judge how much of a tip you get mainly based on your service. So this tip calc is perfect for me because you can just slide your finger to the right or left and itll give you a percentage to tip. Another great feature is the ability to input the number of people who are with you and are also tipping. This will tell you how much your part of the tip is. I dig the icon too. Im big on looks and I think this has a solid icon for the home screen. The only criticism I have is slight and more of an idea on making this even better: Add another slider like the one for rating service but for rating the quality of your meal. Youd be able to base your tip on the service AND the quality of your dinner. Just an idea for the developer. Maybe a future update perhaps?

It use to have a stupid bug that everytime you would push the delete button it would crash the app. Now, its perfict! Thank you!!

Simple, elegant. Totally worth the 2 bucks. The other apps are over designed.

Its the best tip app you can find. I use it several times a week and find that its the easiest and fastest tip app Ive ever used. I downloaded another tip app before buying this one but I always pick this one because its the best one. The happy face rating makes it real simple.
